1.1 billion rubles were allocated to support entrepreneurs in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Since the beginning of 2025, 259 small and medium-sized businesses have received money, the press service of the regional Ministry of Economy reported on Monday, September 15.
Most of the funds — 954 million rubles — were invested in priority sectors.: tourism, manufacturing, logistics, and agriculture. The amount of support in municipalities amounted to 520 million rubles.
According to ChitaMedia news agency, 312 jobs have been created, 249 of them in priority sectors and 152 more in municipalities.
Earlier, Izvestia wrote that state support for SMEs and the self—employed fell by almost 40% over the year - in the first six months of 2025, it amounted to 165 billion rubles. The impact was a decrease in lending, optimization of budget expenditures and the replacement of mass support measures with more targeted ones — only for businesses from priority sectors.
