- Military blogger Alekhine is being investigated by the authorities for money laundering to help his
Roman Alyokhin, a military blogger and ex-adviser to the governor of the Kursk Region, receives "kickbacks" from aid collections for military personnel in the special military operation zone. Izvestia had at its disposal material revealing the fraudulent scheme. Law enforcement agencies have already started checking. Alekhine does not consider himself guilty and claims that a customized campaign has been launched against him, the purpose of which is allegedly to discredit absolutely everyone involved in volunteering.
Roman Alekhine is 43 years old. He was born in Kursk. Lawyer, former policeman. His father was the head of the Kursk State Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise.
Alyokhin's office is located at 57a Leninsky Komsomol Avenue. According to SPARK, there were five other organizations associated with the blogger at this address. Almost all of them received government contracts at different times. The largest sums were attracted by the MRC "ORTHO-DOCTOR". We worked with the disabled and pensioners.
"The state gives them diapers. In the arms of an old grandmother. Alyokhin personally appears at this grandmother's. He says: look, they give you foreign diapers, and I will give you such diapers of domestic production, but not worse," said journalist and writer Marat Khairullin.
At the same time, the Ministry of Justice also revealed a number of violations in the activities of the charitable foundation. Among them: the lack of separate accounting of income, as well as the use of funds without the approval of the Council. Questions about collecting money: details of a personal bank card and links to crypto wallets are indicated. Both on the website and in social networks.
"Cryptocurrency provides a fairly high degree of anonymity from the rulers, the recipients of these funds. <... > In 2003, Alekhine opened his own specialized orthopedic store," said Igor Bederov, head of the online search company.
Also, according to Lidia Mikhailovna, the mother of her amputated son, Alyokhin bought old prostheses from people with disabilities for a song, repaired and sold them, and also received compensation from the state as for new ones. According to the pensioner, her son also got such an alleged prosthesis.
"He had prosthetics almost every year. As Alekhine himself said, this is a golden bottom <... > It was a female prosthetic. He was doing an adjustment and gave it to us so that we could show this prosthesis how it works at the Korenskaya Fair with Sasha," the woman recalls.
It is noted that when the mobilization began, the blogger received a summons. But he did not get to the front. My health failed me: hypertension, arrhythmia, screws in my leg, spinal fracture. However, he eventually joined the army. I signed the contract before the start of Operation Stream. A strategically important offensive, when our military knocked out the enemy from Suja. According to Alekhine himself, while the fighters were moving along the gas pipeline in full gear for several days, he was engaged in providing communications. At the same time, 26 days is exactly how much time Alekhine devoted to his service in the Akhmat special forces.
So, on the territory of his charitable organization, Alekhine is creating a museum and has already buried exactly the same pipe underground as from Operation Potok. He specified that it has two dugouts, exactly the same as they were during his service.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kursk Region is currently investigating Alyokhin's activities. But it is already clear that the scandal can be a serious blow to the trust between those who help the front and those who are waiting for help on the front line.
"They undermine the general trust. On the one hand, the military is convinced that the volunteers are muddy schematics, on the other hand, civilians think that if this is a crook, then they are the same," said journalist and volunteer Evgeny Norin.
For fighters, helping from the rear sometimes becomes a matter of life and death. And such a scandal is not just a blow to the reputation of a single lover of fame and money, but the risk of negating the efforts of thousands of honest volunteers who continue to work for victory.
Olivia Livingston, a lawyer and head of the Law and Sport Research Center, said on September 11 that Alyokhin could face a criminal case under articles on large-scale fraud and money laundering acquired by criminal means.
Also on September 10, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation revealed violations of several articles of the federal law "On Non-Profit Organizations" by a military blogger during an audit of the defendant's foundation.
On September 9, it became known that a check was being conducted against Alekhine on suspicion of fraud related to assistance to military personnel of his military district. He is suspected of money laundering and tax evasion under the guise of helping participants in a special operation. Izvestia has footage of him talking about a way to launder millions of rubles through his charitable foundation. As part of the criminal scheme, the company transfers 200 million rubles to the fund for allegedly helping the front. After that, Alekhine acquires medicines worth 150 million from a company affiliated with the company for its participants.
