Buryatia will receive almost 840 million rubles for the modernization of housing and communal services

Buryatia will receive 838.5 million rubles of treasury infrastructure loans for the modernization of the housing and communal services system. This decision was made at a meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission for Regional Development, the press service of the Government of the republic reports.

In total, the commission approved 13 applications from the subjects of Russia. Buryatia was included in the list with seven projects. The money will be used to upgrade public infrastructure facilities in different areas.

So, Ulan-Ude will build a water pipeline in the village of Zabaikalsky for 95.3 million rubles. Another 213 million rubles will be allocated for the overhaul of sewer collectors.

Heat supply networks will be repaired in the North Baikal region. In Kicher, 99.4 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes, in Nizhneangarsk — 124 million rubles, in Novy Uoyang — 145.7 million rubles. Another 122.6 million rubles will be spent on hydraulic adjustment of the heating network in these settlements.

According to IA UlanMedia, 37.7 million will also be allocated to improve the heat distribution system in Taksim Mui district.

Earlier it was reported that a large-scale modernization of the street lighting system has been completed in Ulan-Ude. In five years, 31 thousand lamps have been replaced on the streets of the city.
