Kobzev won the election of the head of the Irkutsk region with 60.79% of the vote.

The current governor of the Irkutsk region, Igor Kobzev, nominated by the United Russia party, won 60.79% of the votes in the elections in the region after counting 100% of the protocols. This was announced on September 15 by the CEC of the Russian Federation.

According to the CEC, Sergei Levchenko (CPRF) came in second place with 22.65% of the vote. Larisa Egorova (Fair Russia — For Truth) took the third place with 8.08%, Viktor Galitskov (LDPR) took the fourth place with 5.82%.

The single voting day ended in Russia on September 14. On the same day, as part of a briefing at the situation center of the Russian Public Chamber (OP) for election observation, Maxim Grigoriev announced the OP's readiness to support the expansion of the use of DEG. The Ministry of Digital Development, in turn, reported that more than 1.5 million voters were able to vote in the elections of governors and regional parliaments on the remote electronic voting platform — the final turnout was 90.54%.
