BM-21 Grad crews destroyed a cluster of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region

Calculations of BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Novorossiysk Guards Mountain Airborne Regiment eliminated the accumulation of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporozhye region. The relevant footage, shot in real time, was shown by the Russian Defense Ministry on September 15.

The ministry clarified that the accumulation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forest area was discovered by scouts. Ukrainian military personnel have set up a strongpoint there in order to prevent the breakthrough of the assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces. Having received the coordinates of the targets, the calculation of the MLRS + Anapa Artillery regiment quickly moved to the firing position and eliminated the specified square with an accurate salvo of a package of rockets.

"The enemy is trying to take cover. <...> Our intelligence is working perfectly, and we are hitting targets. We are working on enemy manpower concentrations, equipment concentrations, and facilities where there may be ammunition," said the deputy commander of the firing platoon with the call sign Buran.

After completing the operation, the airborne assault groups entered the stronghold and cleaned it up. After completing the combat mission, the crew went to recharge and continued to carry out combat duty, waiting for new targets.

"The most important thing is to carry out the combat mission. This is the most basic thing. <...> The most important thing is to take the train away. At the moment of arrival on a combat mission, I am responsible, as a driver, for the safety of personnel and the safety of the car," summed up the driver of a military vehicle with the call sign Filin.

The new equipment will reduce the time spent by the gunners in their positions.

On September 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the calculation of the Lancet barrage ammunition of the Vostok group of forces eliminated a 155-millimeter towed M198 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region with a direct hit. It was clarified that the artillery position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hiding in a forest plantation.
