The calculation of the Msta-S self-propelled gun destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Red Army direction

Servicemen of the Msta-S self-propelled artillery unit (ACS) of the Center group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area in the special military operation zone. This was announced on September 15 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The artillery crew, having received data from the operators of the Orlan 30 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), quickly turned around and delivered an accurate 152-millimeter projectile strike on the fortified stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroying an accumulation of enemy manpower at a distance of more than 14 km.

Reconnaissance using UAVs confirmed the defeat of targets. After completing the task, the crew promptly left the position, performing an anti-fire maneuver.

"We change our position immediately after work, that is, we leave for another one so that the enemy does not discover us," said Alexey Dzyuba, the gunner of the calculation.

The new equipment will reduce the time spent by the gunners in their positions.

On September 14, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that tankers of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces destroyed the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the SVO zone. It was clarified that in order to ensure the secrecy and disorientation of the enemy, the fire was conducted from various closed firing lines.
