Makhonin won the election of the governor of the Perm Region with 70.94% of the vote.

The current governor of the Perm Region, Dmitry Makhonin, representing the United Russia party, won the election of the head of the region, gaining 70.94% of the vote following the processing of 100% of the protocols of precinct election commissions. This was reported to the CEC on September 15.

According to the Central Election Commission's online scoreboard, Ksenia Aitakova (KPRF) came in second place with 10.3% of the vote, Oleg Postnikov (LDPR) came in third with 7.89%, Denis Shitov (New People party) came in fourth with 5.87%, Lyudmila Karavaeva (Pensioners' Party) took fifth place with 3.26% of the vote.
