Russian Ambassador Lipaev was summoned to the Romanian Foreign Ministry due to the incident with the UAV

On September 14, Russian Ambassador Vladimir Lipaev was summoned to the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was protested over an incident involving alleged violations of state borders by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

According to him, during the conversation at the ministry, not a single answer was given to the questions he raised about the identification of the UAV that allegedly flew into Romanian airspace.

"Due to the lack of objective confirmation of the nationality of the aircraft, the protest was rejected as far—fetched and unfounded," he told TASS.
