Acting head of Komi Goldstein leads the election after processing 0.5% of protocols
The acting governor of the Komi Republic, Rostislav Goldstein (United Russia), is leading the election with 94.21% of the vote. This was confirmed on September 14 by the data of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Russian Federation, provided after processing 0.5% of the votes.
Stepan Solovyov from the Green Alternative party is in second place with 2.85%, Sergey Karginov from the Liberal Democratic Party is third, and Alexander Kasyanenko from the Communists of Russia is fourth, with 0.84% voting for him. Tatiana Saladina from "Fair Russia — Patriots — For Truth" rounded out the top five with 0.35%.
A single voting day, in which voters chose 21 governors and 11 regional parliaments, ended in the Russian Federation on September 14. Nikolay Bulaev, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Ella Pamfilova, in an interview with Izvestia on September 12, noted the high activity of citizens in the elections.
