A driver hit a moose on the M-12 highway in Tatarstan. This was reported by 360.ru September 14th.

According to preliminary data, six cars were involved in the incident. The accident happened on the 167th km from Kazan. Emergency services and police are working at the site.

Traffic on the right side of the highway is difficult. There is no information about the condition of the driver and the animal yet, there have been no official comments on the accident.

On September 3, the press service of the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow Region warned that drivers in the Moscow region should exercise special caution: with the onset of autumn, moose often take to the roads during mating games, the Moscow City News agency notes. Motorists were urged to use the high beam in the evening when driving outside populated areas and in the absence of oncoming traffic.
