CSKA lost to Rostov and suffered its first defeat of the RPL season.

Rostov Football Club (FC) defeated CSKA Moscow in the eighth round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The match took place on September 14 and ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of the Rostov team.

The only goal for the Moscow club was scored by midfielder Konstantin Kuchaev (7th minute). In addition, CSKA defender Milan Gayic was sent off in the 43rd minute of the game. Mateus Alves, the midfielder of the capital's team, was also sent off in the 84th minute.

This is the first defeat of CSKA in the RPL since November 2024. The Moscow team has not lost in 21 consecutive games.
