Maxim Grigoriev, a member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, expressed his willingness to support the use of remote electronic voting (DEG). He stated this on September 14 at a briefing at the situation center for election observation.

"We are ready [to support the development of DEG]. Moreover, we have been promoting DEG for many years. We have a separate procedure for public control of DEG in the Public Chamber and a separate "gold standard" for DEG control," Grigoriev said.

He also noted that a digital safe package was created yesterday. According to him, DEG is a very convenient system that people need.
