Japanese boxer Naoya Inoue defended the title of the absolute world champion in the second light heavyweight division. The match took place on September 14th.

The Japanese wrestled with Murojon Akhmadaliev, an athlete from Uzbekistan, Sport-Express reports.

"A 32-year-old Japanese man in Nagoya won in 12 rounds by unanimous decision. Inoue has 31 wins without defeats at the professional level, while 30-year—old Akhmadaliev has 14 wins and two losses," the newspaper reported.

Earlier in the day, American boxer Terence Crawford won the title of absolute world boxing champion in the third weight class. He defeated Mexican Saul Alvarez by unanimous decision.
