Russian military personnel in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) celebrated the Day of the tanker. Soldiers of the 123rd Brigade of the Southern Military District told Izvestia about the advantages of Russian combat vehicles over their foreign counterparts.
According to the commander of the T-72B3M tank with the call sign Lunar, the armor of Western tanks is weaker, and the presence of dynamic protection gives the T-72 a serious advantage in combat.
"I think this is one of the best tanks, because all the practices show that it is overpowering. And even the same "Abrams" — they have weaker armor. There's a lot of dynamic protection here," he said.
The military not only shared their impressions of the military equipment, but also congratulated their colleagues and citizens of the Russian Federation on the holiday. The servicemen also performed the informal anthem of the border and tank troops, the Soviet military song "Three Tankmen."
"On behalf of the tankers of the Southern Military District of the 123rd Brigade, I would like to congratulate everyone on the Tankman's Day holiday. Victory will be ours," the soldiers concluded their congratulations.

On their professional holiday, Tanker's Day, the crew of the T-80BVM tank of the North group of forces demonstrated well-coordinated cooperation with the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the same group. During the combat mission, thanks to the work of the UAV operators, a camouflaged firing point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered.
