"The only reason crime in Memphis has decreased somewhat is that the FBI and other federal government employees, on my instructions, have been working there for five months," he wrote on the Truth Social network.

The President clarified that the crime rates with which the representatives of the departments began their work were "absolutely terrible." The same situation, he said, was observed in Chicago and Los Angeles, but he assured that the real work to reduce crime had just begun.
