The unwillingness of the Polish Ministry of Defense to consult with the Russian Ministry of Defense about the incident with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) looks like a provocation. This was announced on September 14 by Russia's Permanent Representative to the international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov.

"The Russian Ministry of Defense has offered consultations, but the Polish Ministry of Defense is not ready. It looks like a provocation or a misunderstanding that the Polish side does not want to clarify," the Russian permanent representative wrote on his Telegram channel.

The diplomat also added that despite the lack of details on the case, Poland has already drawn conclusions about Russia's alleged attempts to destabilize their country.

On September 10, the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland (RFA) reported on the defeat of several drones by the Polish military that violated the country's airspace. Later, the Reuters news agency, citing sources in NATO, said that the alliance did not regard the incident with the drone in Poland as an attack.
