A satellite of the Russian global navigation satellite system (GLONASS) was successfully launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. This was announced on September 13 by the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Bakanov.

"A cargo ship was launched yesterday to provide the ISS with everything necessary, and the GLONASS navigation satellite was launched at night," Bakanov said at the new National Space Center, which was visited by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On September 13, the Roscosmos state Corporation announced that the Russian space forces had successfully launched the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. It is specified that the launch vehicle was launched with a spacecraft in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense and with the Mozhaets-6 educational and research spacecraft.
