A Lancet barrage of ammunition destroyed an American M198 howitzer in its combat zone.

The operational crew of the Lancet barrage ammunition from the Vostok group of forces eliminated the 155-millimeter towed M198 howitzer of the American production of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced on September 14 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During aerial reconnaissance, the operator of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) discovered an artillery position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hidden in a forest plantation. With a direct hit, the Lancet destroyed a howitzer and personnel.

The new equipment will reduce the time spent by the gunners in their positions.

On September 13, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the crew of a T-80BVM tank of the Aleysky motorized rifle unit of the Center group of forces had destroyed the control point of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army special operation area with fire from a closed position.
