A teenager was killed in an accident on the 10th km of the Zvenigorod - Yershovo– Boriskovo highway in Odintsovo city district. This was announced on September 13 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Moscow region.
"A 32-year—old driver, driving a Ford car, hit a pit bike driven by a minor who was performing a turning maneuver," the department's Telegram channel said.
It is specified that a 14-year-old boy driving a pit bike died on the spot from his injuries.
In addition, investigators opened a criminal case against the driver of the car under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules or operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of a person by negligence").
On September 13, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Novgorod Region reported that two people were killed and three more injured in a three-car accident. It was clarified that specialists are working at the scene, the causes and circumstances of the accident are being established.
