The new Mission Control Center (MCC) of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) will be located at the National Space Center (NCC) in Moscow. This was announced on September 13 by Dmitry Bakanov, Director General of the Roscosmos State Corporation.

"Here, in this hall, the flight control center of the Russian Orbital Station will be located, which Igor Maltsev, Director General of RSC Energia, reported to us just a little earlier," Interfax quoted him as saying.

Bakanov added that the NCC will also house control centers for the entire Russian orbital group.

Russian President Vladimir Putin officially opened a new NCC in Moscow on the same day. The Head of State also congratulated everyone involved in the Russian space industry on the opening of the complex. The new space center is a joint project of the Moscow government and the Roscosmos state Corporation, built on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation.
