"Over two million people have visited the information center over the entire period. Now it will work in an even more modern format — inside a multimedia kinetic art object," Natalia Sergunina noted.
In the center, guests of the capital can get acquainted with the sights, the current event poster and useful city services. Experts help tourists to create walking routes, choose excursions and answer questions in four languages: Russian, English, Chinese and Arabic. In addition, visitors are offered products of the souvenir brand "Moscow".
"Every year, the park welcomes more than 12 million Muscovites and tourists. Since the beginning of the year, it has already been visited by 9.5 million people, and in the summer alone — 4.8 million. Concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, festivals, world-class cultural and business events are held here," the Deputy mayor emphasized.
According to Natalia Sergunina, Moscow is consistently strengthening its position as a major tourist center. In the first half of 2025, 12.5 million travelers visited the capital, which is two percent higher than in the same period last year.
"The Russian capital is a hospitable metropolis. We always welcome tourists. Comfortable hotels, modern transport, a wide variety of hotels, cafes, cultural venues and pedestrian spaces await them in Moscow," the vice mayor added.
The number of visitors from non—CIS countries increased by 10 percent in the first half of the year, reaching half a million.
"According to the task of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we are making Moscow comfortable and attractive for both residents and millions of tourists. The Matryoshka of Moscow is a new point of attraction on the city's map, as well as a symbol of the unification of technology, innovation and the rich cultural heritage of our country. The design and construction of the unique attraction was carried out by the capital's specialists of various profiles. All the main components were manufactured at Moscow factories," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
