The US Department of Commerce has imposed sanctions on 32 companies from different countries. The relevant information follows from a document published on the Ministry's website on September 12.

According to the document, 23 companies from China, three from Turkey, two from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as well as one each from India, Singapore, Taiwan and Iran were sanctioned by the US Department of Commerce. It is alleged that they are allegedly involved in the supply of various products to Russia.

"The US government has determined that the actions of these organizations are contrary to the interests of national security or the foreign policy of the United States," the document says.

Earlier, on September 1, the Axios portal, citing sources, reported that the United States had called on European countries to impose sanctions on India similar to the American ones. The administration of US President Donald Trump wants European countries to impose additional duties on China. Trump said that EU countries are dragging out the conflict and expect the United States to bear all costs.
