Temporary flight restrictions lifted at Volgograd Airport
Temporary restrictions on take-off and landing of aircraft have been lifted at Volgograd Airport. This was announced on September 13 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.
"Volgograd Airport — temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," he said in a message on the Telegram channel.
These measures, as specified, were necessary in order to ensure flight safety. Korenyako added that during the period of the restrictions imposed, one plane "left" for the alternate airfield.
The introduction of time restrictions at Volgograd Airport became known earlier that day. These measures were also introduced at Yaroslavl Airport. Later, restrictions began to apply in the air ports of Samara and Saratov.
