The paratroopers destroyed an American MK-19 grenade launcher along with the crew

In the Zaporozhye area, Novorossiysk paratroopers destroyed an American MK-19 machine-gun grenade launcher along with a crew. This was announced on September 13 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Units of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Novorossiysk Regiment of the mountain formation of the Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces) are actively destroying observation posts, fortified positions and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with FPV attack drones and FPV drones controlled by fiber optic cables in the Orekhovsky direction of the Zaporizhia region.

During aerial reconnaissance by UAV operators, the crew of an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Novorossiysk regiment of the Airborne mountain unit discovered a US-made MK-19 machine-gun automatic grenade launcher that was firing at the positions of our units.

Shock FPV drones were immediately lifted into the air. After the first hit, the grenade launcher crew scattered, trying to find cover. Then, a grenade launcher was destroyed by an accurate hit from a drone strike.

The high efficiency of the FPV drone operators is achieved by hitting targets at considerable distances. Intelligence quickly detects enemy targets and transmits their coordinates to control points, which allows for rapid and accurate fire strikes. This significantly reduces the combat potential of the enemy and creates favorable conditions for further actions of the assault groups.

On September 12, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the calculations of the Molniya-2 UAV of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne unit destroyed the control points of the UAV and the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Chasyar and Nikolaevka. Having received the task of using the complex, the paratroopers assembled the drone and covertly carried out its takeoff from a pre-prepared position. Having identified the target, the operator pointed the drone at it, the software captured the target and, despite the opposition of the enemy electronic warfare system (EW), the Molniya-2 hit the target.
