The EU did not extend sanctions against one individual from the Russian list
The European Union (EU) has not extended personal sanctions against one individual from the Russian Federation. This was announced on September 1 by the press service of the EU Council.
"In the context of the review of sanctions, the Council also decided not to extend the lists of one person and exclude one deceased person from the list," the publication says.
On September 10, the Court of Justice of the European Union lifted sanctions against Russian businessman Dmitry Pumpyansky, which were imposed against him in March 2022. In addition, the court ordered the EU Council to pay the expenses incurred by the businessman during the court proceedings.
