Lukashenko announced a good potato harvest in Belarus this year
Belarus will not allow a shortage of potatoes, which had problems in the spring of 2025, as the country has had a good harvest this year. This was announced on September 12 by the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko.
"As for potatoes, which had problems in stores this spring, they were grown enough to completely cover the needs of the population and also be exported. <...> "We know and will not allow it anymore," the head of state stressed, BelTA news agency quoted Lukashenko as saying.
