The Israeli authorities are hesitant to strike Algeria thanks to Russian weapons, the American Military Watch Magazine (MWM) drew attention to this on September 12.

In the Middle East and North Africa, Algeria remains the only country that has invested heavily in modern air defense systems from non-Western suppliers, with its entire network of radar and anti—aircraft missile systems, as well as its fleet of fighter jets and interceptors, purchased from China and Russia.
