Russian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Alexander Zmeevsky called on the Czech government to think about who actually benefits from the incident with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Poland. This was announced on September 12 by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It is specified that on September 11, Zmeevsky was summoned to a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Marian. During the meeting, the Czech side announced alleged violations of Polish airspace by Russia. The Russian Ambassador, in turn, rejected this baseless position.

"Zmeevsky suggested that the Czech partners ask themselves who really benefits from this incident, as well as the hysteria fanned around it," the Telegram channel said.

In addition, the Czech side was aware of the readiness of the Russian Defense Ministry to hold consultations with the Czech Defense Ministry. The Russian Foreign Ministry is also ready to join this work, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on September 10 that European allies had made an offer to the Polish authorities to strengthen the country's air defense system in connection with the incident involving the penetration of drones into the republic's airspace. NATO will also conduct a comprehensive assessment of the UAV incident.

Prior to this, the operational command of the branches of the Armed Forces of Poland (RFA) told about the defeat of several drones by the Polish military that violated the country's airspace. Later, the Reuters news agency, citing sources in NATO, stated that the alliance does not regard this incident as an attack. In addition, US President Donald Trump did not rule out that the situation with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Poland may be due to a mistake.
