An accident involving two cars occurred in the Samara region, four people were killed and another was injured. This was announced on September 12 by the regional prosecutor's office.

"According to preliminary data, on September 12 at about 00:22 (23:22 Moscow time on September 11. — Ed.) on the 1115th km of the M-5 Ural highway near the village of Sukhodol, Sergievsky district, two Ford Mondeo and Gazelle cars collided, the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that as a result of the accident, the driver and two passengers of a passenger car and one passenger of a Gazelle were killed. The truck driver was injured and hospitalized. In addition, a light car caught fire as a result of the accident.

The circumstances of the accident are being established, the prosecutor's office added.

On September 11, the State Traffic Inspectorate in the Novosibirsk region reported that an accident with a rollover into a ditch occurred in the Kochenevsky district, during which the driver was killed and a passenger was injured. It is specified that the driver died of his injuries on the spot. The passenger was taken to the hospital with injuries.
