According to the ChitaMedia news agency, the man and his three accomplices illegally cut down trees, processed wood and sold it in the form of lumber.

During the searches, chainsaws and a GAZ-66 truck were seized from them. The police managed to establish the group's involvement in seven cases of illegal logging between June and August. The damage from their actions was estimated at at least 7 million rubles.

The organizer was placed under arrest, and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the case.
