A nurse from the EAO has obtained compensation for illegal dismissal
In the EAO, a woman who worked as a nurse was reinstated in her former position. The court declared her dismissal illegal. In addition, her salary for forced absenteeism and compensation for moral damage were collected in her favor. In total, the plaintiff received 130.6 thousand rubles. Her employment rights have been fully restored.
The prosecutor's office supported the demands, pointing out that the dismissal is illegal and grounds for reinstatement, IA EAOmedia writes.
The supervisory authority explained that the woman worked in a medical institution under an employment contract. According to its terms, she was accepted for this position for an indefinite period. In June 2025, in accordance with the order of the head of the institution, the woman was fired due to a reduction in the number and staff of employees.
It turned out that the dismissal took place in violation of the requirements of labor legislation. So, in October 2024, she received a notice of dismissal due to a reduction in her main position, but was on sick leave during the dismissal period.
In early September, it was reported that a primary school teacher from the Khabarovsk lyceum had obtained a salary recalculation through the court. She will receive more than 150,000 rubles, as she received much less than the minimum wage for one 18-hour rate.
