The state prosecution has requested sentences of 9.5 to 17 years in a high-security penal colony for six people accused of murdering biker Kirill Kovalev in a parking lot in the capital's Lyublino district. This was reported on September 11 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Moscow City Court.
The prosecutor requested 17 years in a high—security penal colony for Shahin Abbasov, Nizami and Bakhtiyar Abbasov were asked to be sentenced to 9.5 years in a high-security penal colony, and Shohrat Abbasov was sentenced to 14 years. Issakhan Abbasov is being asked to be sentenced to 16 years, and Nahid Huseynov is being sentenced to 10 years in a high—security penal colony.
Kirill Kovalev's murder took place on April 17, 2024 on Krasnodarskaya Street. A 24-year-old motorcyclist made a remark to Shahin Abbasov, who parked his car on the sidewalk near the entrance of an apartment building. In response, he punched and kicked him multiple times on the body, and also stabbed him in the abdomen, after which he disappeared.
The victim died in the hospital the next day. A criminal case was opened into the murder. Shortly after that, the figurine was detained in the Rostov region. He was caught along with two accomplices. Abbasov's father and friend were also detained.
