The mother of Maxim Kuzminov, a pilot killed in Spain, who defected to Ukraine in 2023 and hijacked an Mi-8 helicopter, identified her son's body. This was reported on September 11 by RT with reference to an acquaintance of the Kuzminov family.
"She contacted her relatives. <...> She cried and told how she identified her son, and complained that the Spanish authorities would not give her the body for burial," he said.
