The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has opened a criminal case against the platoon commander of the armed formations of Ukraine (VFU), Junior Lieutenant Artem Chibisov, who participated in the illegal armed blockade of the city of Sudzhi. This was announced on September 11 by the official representative of the department Svetlana Petrenko.

"While in the city of Sudzha, Chibisov, in order to destabilize the activities of the authorities, used weapons against civilian infrastructure and civilians, preventing their evacuation," the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said in a Telegram channel.

It is noted that the Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case under paragraphs "a", "b", part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). During the investigation, all the circumstances of the crimes committed by the Ukrainian soldier will be established.

On August 26, investigators opened a criminal case against a Ukrainian militant who is accused of committing a terrorist act in the Kursk region. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the person involved illegally crossed the Russian border. In the village of Malaya Loknya, a Ukrainian serviceman repeatedly intimidated civilians with weapons, prevented the evacuation of the population, and also monitored the movement of units of the Russian Armed Forces (AF).
