A train killed a man in the Perm Region

Investigators are conducting an investigation into the death of a man on a railway in the Perm Region. The victim was hit by a train.

The incident occurred at night on September 6 between Grigoryevskaya and Tchaikovsky stations. According to the <url> news agency, the man tried to cross the tracks in the wrong place. The train driver took emergency measures, but could not avoid being hit.

The pedestrian died at the scene. The Central Interregional Investigation Department for Transport is checking whether there are signs of a crime in the incident under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport").

In Khabarovsk, a diesel locomotive hit a man who was crossing a railway at a forbidding traffic light. The victim was hospitalized.
