The updated Evolute i-Space crossover went on sale in Russia

The company Evolute has announced the launch of sales of the updated version of the hybrid crossover i-Space in Russia. The crossover, manufactured at a factory in the Lipetsk region, is available in one configuration and two versions — a five-seater and a seven-seater. The first one costs from 2.49 million rubles, the second — from 2.59 million rubles, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on September 11.

The Evolve i-Space received a new exterior design with a panel instead of a radiator grille, smoothed body side lines and other 19-inch wheels. In the cabin, the front seats received electric adjustments and a revised profile. The transmission tunnel console is now equipped with integrated cup holders, smartphone charging connectors, and wireless charging.

The direction selector is located on the steering column. Atmospheric contour illumination is provided. The new generation media system with a 15.6-inch screen supports embedded Russian online services. The expanded package of "winter" options includes heated windshield washer nozzles, heated seats and ventilation of the first and second rows, as well as heated steering wheels throughout the grip area. The volume of the luggage compartment in the five-seat version, taking into account the additional niche under the raised floor, increased to 1 thousand liters.

The improvement of the sequential hybrid power plant is also announced. The i-Space electric motor now develops 218 hp and 330 Nm of torque, providing acceleration to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. The electric power reserve has almost doubled thanks to a new traction battery with a capacity of 25.1 kWh and can reach 165 km, while the total power reserve has increased by 100 km to 1,250 km. Fuel consumption in the WLTC cycle is 5.6 liters per 100 km.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the flagship hybrid crossover Voyah Taishan may appear in Russia. Representatives of the brand's Russian office shared new pictures of the crossover and its technical characteristics.
