"Russian foreign institutions in Indonesia maintain contact with local competent authorities and provide the necessary consular assistance to Russian citizens who have applied for assistance," the Telegram channel said.

It is noted that in some areas of the island, an increase in water levels up to 1.5 m was recorded. Flooding of private homes, damage to power lines and restricted traffic on roads were also revealed. The embassy clarified that Bali's tourist areas were not affected. The situation on the island is currently under the control of local authorities.
