In the Leningrad region, a three-month-old baby died after being fed infant formula

In the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region, a baby died after feeding an infant family. This was reported on September 11 by a source of Izvestia.

"On the afternoon of September 10, the mother of three-month-old twins fed the children formula and put them to bed. A few hours later, she discovered that one of them was not showing signs of life," the source said.

The woman tried to resuscitate her son on her own, but the attempts were unsuccessful. Her husband took the child to the hospital, where the boy's death was pronounced.

According to the source, the children were born prematurely and had heart problems. At the moment, the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

Earlier, on September 4, a newborn baby was found in a box near a garbage chute in the Leningrad region. The girl was presumably born at 34-35 weeks. A criminal case was opened into the incident on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of art. 30, art. 106 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder by the mother of a newborn").
