- The Bakhyt-Kompot group will celebrate Vadim Stepantsov's 35th birthday with a concert
The iconic Russian band Bakhyt-Kompot will celebrate the 35th anniversary of its leader Vadim Stepantsov, who turned 65, in Moscow on Friday, September 12. A sparkling show awaits the audience.
"A combination of the incongruous, the sublime and the base, the beautiful and the ugly, the tragic and the comic, and all this is in my texts. Our audience is not about age, it's about the number of convolutions in the head and a sense of humor. Those people who have taste and a sense of humor," Stepantsov explained.
Fans will hear not only familiar hits, but also new compositions such as "Gray-dear", "Oh frost, frost", "Alyoshenka is alive". On Saturday, September 13, the musicians will perform in St. Petersburg, where they also promise to surprise the audience.
Earlier, in April, the band presented a video for the song "On a Russian charred Tank." According to Stepantsov, the lines that formed the basis of the composition were written by his friend. He stressed that the military theme is close to him, as the team has repeatedly performed for Russian soldiers at the front.
