3,500 sports fans will take part in the closing of the 2025 Hero Race season.

On September 13, the Leonid Tyagachev Ski Club will host the closing of the 2025 steeplechase season – the "Race of Heroes" from the League of Heroes, the organizer of mass sports events. 3,500 participants will attend the start of the sports festival.

"This season we have held 23 "Hero Races" in different cities of the country. In total, more than 50,000 people took part in them. The demand for participation is enormous – the "Race of Heroes" at the L.Tyagachev Ski Club will be the fifth one that we are holding in the Moscow region in the summer of 2025. The most massive races took place in St. Petersburg, Kazan and Yekaterinburg - more than 4,000 participants took part in these cities. Despite the fact that we are officially closing the season, in a week we will hold the final race in Volgograd, which will increase the number of participants across the country to 52,000 people," said Denis Annikov, director of the League of Heroes.

Athletes will have to overcome a 6.5 km long track and 30 obstacles, including handlebars of varying difficulty, water obstacles, vertical fences and many others. The warm-up for the participants of the mass start will be conducted by Mikhail Devyatyarov, Russian ski champion, member of the Russian Olympic ski racing team, winner of the World Cup, silver medalist of the Eastern European Cup, founder of the Devi Club sports club.

Anyone over the age of 18 can take part in the "Race" in one of two formats: individually in a mass start, as part of a team of 10 people accompanied by a professional instructor, as well as in a championship format.

All-Russian obstacle racing competitions in the Distance discipline will be held on the basis of the Race of Heroes track. 10 000 - 11 000 meters". The official competitions will once again bring together renowned athletes from all over the country, including members of the Russian national team and leaders of the 2025 European Championship: Nikolai Bazhanov, Sergey Gritsak, Ivan Degtyarev and others.

As part of the "Race of Heroes", the Tyagachev Ski Club will also host a Championship in the "PRO" format for professional athletes and "AGE" for four age groups from 18 to 40+ years old. The athletes who won prizes in the men's and women's competitions in each category will share the prize fund of 2 million rubles.
