In the USA, Kirk was named the most effective representative of the MAGA movement.
The death of Charlie Kirk, a conservative political activist and ally of US President Donald Trump, has deprived the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement of one of its most effective representatives. This was reported on September 11 by The Globe and Mail newspaper.
"His death <...> deprives the Trump movement of one of its most visible and effective representatives," the article says.
According to the publication, Kirk was an influential figure. It is noted that Trump's son Barron, in his father's time, called the deceased an important force among young conservatives.
The assassination attempt on Kirk, who was an ally of Trump, was carried out on September 10. A politician who openly opposed the provision of military assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has died. Trump promised to find "anyone and everyone" involved in the murder of the American activist.
Later, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson announced that state lawmakers were calling for increased security amid Kirk's murder. According to him, they must take "serious measures in serious times."
