Against the background of the murder of Charlie Kirk, a conservative political activist and ally of US President Donald Trump, the White House accused representatives of the US Democratic Party, as well as their supporters, of supporting crime in the country.

"Democrats are for crime. Dot," a message appeared on September 10 on the official White House page on the social network X (former. Twitter).

The post also includes headlines from the American media, which talk about high-profile crimes that have occurred in the United States in recent months, including mass killings. Some of them also criticize the Democrats' inability to take proper measures in relation to the criminal situation.

Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson said earlier in the day that United States lawmakers were calling for increased security after Kirk's murder. Johnson added that they must take "serious measures in serious times."

The assassination attempt on Kirk, who was an ally of Trump, was carried out on September 10. A politician who openly opposed the provision of military assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has died. Trump promised to find "anyone and everyone" involved in the murder of the American activist.
