Roman Alekhin, a former adviser to the governor of the Kursk region and a military blogger, tried to justify to Izvestia why, after receiving the summons, he was not mobilized to participate in a special military operation (SVO). According to him, it was due to medical reasons.

When undergoing a medical examination at the military enlistment office, Alyokhin, when asked to list the existing diseases, reported: spinal fracture, hypertension, arrhythmia. He was given directions to visit doctors at the regional hospital.

According to the man, when he went to the doctors, his blood pressure jumped from excitement and he had to be hospitalized. However, he insisted that he "had to go to the military enlistment office."

"I go to the cardiologist, I measure the pressure — 220 over 120. She: "What is it?" Maybe he was overexcited. She gave me a pill. I'm supposed to be hospitalized. Says: "We can't let you go. They immediately put up a holter (an ECG monitoring device) for me for a day, which measures blood pressure and a cardiogram around the clock," he explained.

Further, according to Alekhine, doctors allegedly "chased the military blogger with certificates" to various specialists while he was preparing to be sent to his military area. However, in the end, when all the examinations were over, the doctors said that the man had been diagnosed with a heart defect.

"I'm wearing clothes, I had the equipment for the front, as a volunteer. I bought everything for myself. I come to the military enlistment office with a backpack on November 1st. They say: everyone, [for you] the mobilization is over, go home," Alyokhin said.

At the same time, before starting his blog, the blogger, judging by the photos, actively attended the gym and worked out with a barbell.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in 2014, Alekhine was tried for selling substandard prosthetics for the disabled. It was clarified that for a small amount he purchased old prosthetics from the families of deceased disabled people or those who needed money. However, he was only fined in court.

Also on September 10, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation revealed violations of several articles of the federal law "On Non-Profit Organizations" by a military blogger during an audit of the defendant's foundation.

On September 9, it became known that an investigation was underway against Alekhine on suspicion of fraud related to assistance to military personnel. He is suspected of money laundering and tax evasion under the guise of helping participants in a special operation. Izvestia has footage of him talking about a way to launder millions of rubles through his charitable foundation. According to the Izvestia source, the blogger was questioned by the police on September 10.
