A group of people abducted a man for a ransom of 25 thousand rubles in the Amur region

Law enforcement officials have detained four suspects in the abduction of a man in the village of Tomichi, Amur region. This was reported on September 11 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

The incident occurred on the evening of September 2. As noted in the department, the attackers, armed with a pistol, decided to kidnap in order to recover the money allegedly stolen from the victim.

"Four men in a private car of one of the suspects arrived <...> at the workplace of their acquaintance. <...> Having lured the man away from work, the attackers forcibly <...> put him in a car, where they began to threaten him with physical violence," the department said in a Telegram channel.

The abducted man, who was abducted in the field and injured while trying to escape from the car, fearing for his life, gave the group of criminals all the money he had — 25 thousand rubles. After that, the kidnappers left the scene, heading to the city of Blagoveshchensk.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Amur region opened a criminal case in accordance with Part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, as well as using weapons or objects used as weapons") and paragraphs "a", "c", "d" of part 2 of Article 126. The Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abduction of a person committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, with the threat of violence dangerous to life and health, using objects used as weapons").

It is specified that currently all those involved in this incident have been taken into custody.

On August 10, a resident of Novosibirsk attacked a child returning from a bank with 1.7 million rubles in his bag. Later, the regional Investigative Committee announced that the attacker had been detained and detained for a period of one month and six days.
