UAV crews destroyed the AFU equipment in the Red Army area of the special operation

Crews of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 56th separate special purpose battalion of the 51st Guards Army of the Southern Military District destroyed armored and automotive equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on logistics routes west of Konstantinovka and Krasnoarmeysk. This was announced on August 11 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During reconnaissance flights of FPV attack drones near the front line, the operators discovered and successfully attacked vehicles with Ukrainian military personnel, destroying them. After that, a second flight was made to the area to confirm the results and eliminate the remaining enemy manpower.

"The enemy's movement is minimal. They try not to move on the routes where we work...> If they move, they do it as quickly and infrequently as possible," said the operator of the 56th separate battalion's attack drones with the call sign Tobol.

The destruction of the enemy's military equipment helped prevent the delivery of personnel, ammunition and assault units to the line of contact, which allowed our troops to occupy advantageous positions for the further advance of the group's units.

The servicemen practiced joint operations using advanced technologies and experience gained during the special operation.

On September 10, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that military personnel of the Buk-M1-2 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the Aleysky compound of the Center group of forces destroyed the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was clarified that thanks to this, it was possible to cover the combined arms units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from enemy air attacks in the zone of a special military operation (SVO).
