Smoke channels to be repaired in 212 houses of Tula region

In the Tula region, they plan to repair smoke ventilation ducts in 212 apartment buildings. This was announced on Wednesday, September 10, by Governor Dmitry Milyaev in his Telegram.

The work will take place in 22 municipalities of the region, most of all in the regional capital. Already, smoke channels have been successfully updated in 134 houses, TSN24 writes.

"This work is of great importance for ensuring the safety of citizens. Serviceable DVCS are, first of all, to prevent the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning," Milyaev emphasized.

The renovation is carried out within the framework of the regional program "Our District", which is being implemented from 2025 to 2029. It is aimed at implementing projects to improve the condition of socially significant infrastructure facilities.

Earlier in September, it was reported that the reconstruction of the bridge over the Upa River had started in Shchekinsky district of the Tula region. The facility is located on the Tula–Belev highway.
