In conversation with the agency RuNews24.Ru On September 9, the expert noted that caffeine contained in coffee, tea and energy drinks blocks adenosine, a substance that causes drowsiness, and thereby increases alertness and concentration. However, over time, regular coffee drinkers develop tolerance, and more drink is needed for the same effect.
According to her, moderate caffeine consumption can improve memory, attention, and reaction speed, but excess caffeine often leads to irritability, anxiety, and insomnia. Adults are recommended to limit the dose to 400 mg per day (about four cups of coffee) and not drink it later than 15:00-16:00, so as not to disturb sleep, writes 360.ru .

On September 4, cardiologist Anastasia Shcherbak said that it is best to drink coffee 1.5–2 hours after waking up. So, after sleep, the level of cortisol in the body is already elevated, therefore, Shcherbak explained, coffee drunk at this time will have a less invigorating effect and may irritate the gastric mucosa more.
On August 7, dermatovenerologist Irina Skorogudaeva, in an interview with NSN, said that coffee itself is good for the body, but you should not add sugar to it - it increases the risk of diabetes and skin rashes. But milk can be used if it is well tolerated.

For example, a man weighing about 95 kg can afford up to four cups, while people with less weight should limit themselves to two.
