Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, held working meetings on September 11 with Evgeny Solntsev, Acting Governor of the Orenburg Region, and Dmitry Makhonin, Governor of the Perm Territory, where he discussed gasification and gas supply issues in the regions.

"We have achieved very, very, very good results in the Orenburg region, because the level of gasification in the Orenburg region is very high. Almost the entire industry of the Orenburg Region runs on grid—based gas," Miller said at a meeting with Solntsev.

According to the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Board, cooperation is being implemented in the Orenburg region in almost all possible areas that exist in the gas industry. In addition, he noted that a new agreement on the gas supply and gasification program for the region will be signed by the end of this year, which will be calculated until 2030.

At the meeting with Makhonin, Miller emphasized the quality of gasification work in the Perm Region. Thus, according to him, 68 settlements have already been gasified in the region over the past five years, more than 6,600 households and 44 boiler houses have received access to gas.

"Every year, the schedule plan for the synchronization of work on the gas supply and gasification program of the Perm Region is fulfilled by 100%. We are developing this program with you on behalf of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and I want to thank you for the fact that there has never been a single failure during all these years," Miller said.

Earlier, on September 5, Gazprom and Mongolia signed a memorandum of cooperation on exploring the prospects for gasification of Ulaanbaatar on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2025). It was noted that during the working meeting, the advantages of natural gas as an efficient and environmentally friendly energy source for improving the quality of life and stimulating industrial growth were emphasized.

On the same day, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, Gombozhavyn Zandanshatar, said that the government of the country would provide full support to the Power of Siberia–2 project. According to the Prime Minister of Mongolia, this project will open up new economic horizons for all participants. He expressed confidence that the Power of Siberia–2 project would also bring environmental benefits and be of strategic importance.
