Mishustin pointed to a slowdown in price growth in Russia

There is a slowdown in price growth in Russia. This was announced on September 10 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting on economic issues.

"As for inflation, the expansion of Russian capacities, as well as a number of decisions taken by the government and the Bank of Russia to curb prices, have allowed for a gradual slowdown in its dynamics," he said.

According to the Prime Minister, by the end of August, the decline in the cost of fruits and vegetables accelerated, and milk and its products returned. Mishustin also stressed the continued positive trend in the labor market.

Earlier, on September 4, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov drew attention to the rapid cooling of the Russian economy.
