An elderly man died under the wheels of a car in Murmansk

In Murmansk, a passenger car killed a 69-year-old man who was crossing the road. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The accident occurred the morning before, on September 9, on Nagorny Passage. According to preliminary data, a 30-year-old local resident driving a Lada X-RAY hit a 69-year-old man who was crossing the roadway in an unintended place, but within sight of a pedestrian crossing.

As a result of the accident, the pedestrian received various injuries, writes the Bi-port news agency. An ambulance arrived and took him to the P.A. Bayandin Hospital, but the doctors were unable to save him. The pensioner died in intensive care without regaining consciousness.

The police are conducting an investigation into the incident. The circumstances of the person's death are being established.

On September 8, in Armavir, a Lada Granta driver hit three teenagers who were crossing the road on a zebra crossing. Two 13-year-old boys died, and a 15-year-old boy was hospitalized in serious condition. A criminal case has been opened.
